twenty eleven

in my opinion, it seems that celebrating new years eve is basically about fire works.

someone says to me, "describe new years eve." and i would say, "fire works."

people are obsessed with the things. my neighbors, who would normally never come out into the light of day, suddenly appear... loaded down with hundreds of packs of random varieties of fire works that they can light on fire and explode in their yards.

it's a little weird, if you ask me.

opening statements.

i have always wanted to blog.

earlier this year, i attempted to be a blogger.

but it's not easy when no one cares about your blog, no one reads your blog, or no one knows your blog exists.

so i quit.

i text my mom today and asked her what she thought i was best at. she said a typical mommy thing, "you're great at a lot of things."

and after a few text messages.. i have concluded- my mother thinks i'm good at giving my opinion.

it runs in the family.

anyway. i think this blog will be more about my journey through life, and the things i learn from it and through it. i do believe, even though i've been on this earth for twenty six years, that i'm just beginning to grow up. i hope that, in some small way, we can grow together.
